Friday Observatory Open House - Fernbank Science Center
Visit Fernbank to check out the stars on a clear night. If the weather is bad, the observatory closes.

Saturday Guided Canoe Trips on the Chattahoochee River - Chattahoochee Nature Center
Paddle down river on a tour led by a Chattahoochee Nature Center naturalist, and enjoy a unique introduction to the ecology of the river. Trips go out "weather permitting." Reserve two weeks in advance.

Every Saturday in July, the CNC hosts live butterfly releases, along with family activities to excite your senses.

Atlanta Botanical Garden Amphitheater Performances - Atlanta Botanical Garden
A series of programs designed to teach children about the natural world through music and stories.
