Paul Mesner Puppets Presents Martha Speaks at Center for Puppetry Arts
The Best-Selling Books Come to Life on Stage
Based on the best-selling “Martha” books by Susan Meddaugh, and produced by special arrangements with Houghton Mifflin Harcourt and WGBH Educational Foundation, Center for Puppetry Arts invites audiences to see Martha jump off the pages onto the stage in Martha Speaks. Dog lovers and kids of all ages will be charmed by Paul Mesner Puppets’ rendition of the popular book and PBS animated series.
When the family feeds alphabet soup to their dog Martha, the letters go to her brain instead of her stomach, and Martha begins to speak. Having a talking dog is not as fun as it seems and the family starts to wish their verbose canine had a mute button.

Hi! My family would feel so blessed to win the chance to see the show. We are struggling too much financially to allow opportunity to go to any theater with our 18 month old daughter, and it would be a blessing to receive such a nice gift for her! Thanks for the chance to win!
Hi Marnie, We just changed to a new contest platform soon after you entered the giveaway but I wanted to let you know that you need not worry.. all of your entries are counted! Thank you for entering!

*should have been my first comment* My daughter loves Martha Speaks, and the Center of Puppetry Arts, we would love to go!
Sorry for all those comments ^ didn’t see the entry form, please delete all but the last comment if possible, thanks
It’s ok Angie. We actually added the form AFTER you started signing up.. our bad! All of your entries will be counted. 🙂
Who doesn’t want to see a talking dog! PBS characters are the best and my two children have been glued to the TV this summer watching Martha. They would love to see her “in person.”
It would be a great birthday celebration for my lil’ Katherine who turns one year old in July. She doesn’t watch TVmuch but every now and then, we let her watch two shows, Martha Speaks is one of them.
This would be a much needed break for our family to go out and enjoy this event without breaking the bank for a nice outing. My son enjoys the PBS kids shows and I’m sure he would enjoy this show!
I have a pair of 3 year old twins that just love to watch Martha Speaks. They would be so excited to see something like this in person! As a child, I spent many exciting times at the Center for Puppetry Arts and would love to share that experience with my girls.
I would love to take my kiddos to see the show at the Center for Puppetry Arts, especially when it involves my toddler’s favorite “dawwwwg!”. I was fortunate to experience the Center growing up via class fieldtrips, and would adore the chance in taking my own children. We live in N. GA so going to “the Big City” is a huge treat!
Thanks for the opportunity!
The puppetry of arts is something that my son has not done yet. He really likes Martha Speaks and loves his letters!
My daughter hasn’t seen a show at the Center yet, but would love to see Martha Speaks! She’s actually watching it right now. 🙂
and she speaks and speaks and speaks and speaks and speaks….martha’s little ditty is stuck in our head all morning after we watch the show. we LOVE martha in our house. we actually have a bit of a ‘real’ talking dog, Ralph, and we joke that Martha and Ralph would get along so well! it’d be a blast to see this show and my girl loves puppets, too…a double bonus!
liked you on facebook, but couldn’t get there from this site 🙂
