High Museum of ArtToddler Thursdays

Bring your tot each Thursday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. for a new way of looking at the High’s collection through letters, numbers, colors, and shapes. No registration required. Free with museum admission. Free for members. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Toddler Thursday is going international! Get your passports ready and spend May exploring art and artists from around the world!

May 17: France

Today we’re going on a French cruise with none other than Claude Monet! We’ll even be creating our own wooden boats.

May 24: Germany

Explore German folk tales about dragons and the starry skies, and then create a scary or silly dragon mask!

May 31: England

Join us for an English garden tour, where we’ll be discovering shadows. We’ll then head outside to create sun prints!


 

Weekend Family Tours

Saturdays and Sundays at 2 p.m.

Explore the High as a family on this interactive guided adventure in the galleries. Meet in the Greene Family Learning Gallery. No registration required. Free with museum admission and free to members.

Discovery Backpacks

The Museum’s colorful backpacks are do-it-yourself gallery adventures that take families on engaging 30- to 45-min journeys. Inside the packs are art projects, puzzles, books, games, and easy-to-follow instructions that help parents and children connect with several works of art in the galleries. Discovery Packs can be borrowed free of charge from the Wieland Pavilion Coat Check. Two Discovery Packs are available: Sculpture and Modern and Contemporary Art.
