If you’ve been considering moving your child from their regular public school to a school where children are challenged and learning is differentiated, but you don’t want to pay the private school price, then a charter school for your child just may suit your situation.
Believe it or not, now is the prime time to apply for fall entry into a Georgia charter school. Charter schools allow teachers the flexibility to utilize innovative methods to reach all children. So if you’re fed up with teachers who are overwhelmed with teaching to the test, then a charter could be a good alternative since they are allowed to try new methods to reach learners and get the best of out all children.
At Atlanta Neighborhood Charter School, applications for the 2013-2014 school year will be accepted February 11th – March 11th. And there are two informational meetings:

PATH Academy in Dekalb county works to create a safe and nurturing learning environment in which refugee, immigrant and local children from the Chamblee, Doraville and Clarkston areas in DeKalb County, Georgia can develop the knowledge, skills, and character needed to succeed in top-quality high schools, colleges, and the competitive world. The school is a 5-8th grade middle school and the application deadline is March 10th.
