For celebrating Mother’s Day, there’s no better place to be than the breathtaking sites featured on the Gardens for Connoisseurs Tour Saturday and Sunday, May 11 – 12.
Held from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m., the event benefits the Atlanta Botanical Garden and spotlights 11 private gardens in metro Atlanta, plus a “bonus garden” featured on the grounds of the Atlanta Symphony Associates’ Decorators Show House.Advance tickets are $25 (Garden Members $20) and will be available at Garden Admissions, select area garden centers and at www.atlantabotanicalgarden.org
The mission of the Atlanta Botanical Garden is to develop and maintain plant collections for display, education, research, conservation and enjoyment. The Garden is located at 1345 Piedmont Ave. NE in Midtown.
Garden hours are Tuesday – Sunday, November-March from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. and April-October from 9 a.m. – 7 p.m. (Thursdays till 10 p.m.).
Admission is $18.95 adults, $12.95 children 3-12, free to children under 3 and Garden members.
