Any-day Summer Activities on St. Simons Island

Any-day activities include a hop-n-go trolley to the many historical sights including the historic lighthouse and Fort Frederica. The Neptune Fun Zone offers a playground, a putt putt golf course and a large wading pool near the pier in the charming downtown. A water park is just over the bridge on Jekyll Island.

Best of all, Atlanta is only five hours from this popular beach resort.  It is easy to take a long weekend or a week away. Atlanta families can leave the hustle and bustle of city life in favor of a laid-back beach atmosphere. The kids can’t get bored with the many available activities as well as the pools and beach. Parents don’t have to do the cooking since the King and Prince offers the King’s Tavern Restaurant, Ocean Grille and Atrium Café.
