Six Flags Over Georgia Super Moms Give Parents The Inside Scoop

Most kids are fearless and love anything to do with speed, heights, and water.  Six Flags Over Georgia offers families all of that wrapped up in one package and within minutes of Atlanta.

I have partnered with Six Flags Over Georgia as a “Six Flags Super Mom” along with Stacie, author of The Divine Miss Mommy, Tiffany author of Stuff Parents Need, and Trish author of Mom Dot.  The four of us will spend the next year learning the ins and outs of Six Flags Over Georgia and may even be able to give you the inside scoop on exciting new developments!

Watch the video below in which I explain a little bit about what I’ll be doing with Six Flags Over Georgia as a compensated Six Flags Over Georgia Super Mom.

The ‘Six Flags Over Georgia Super Mom’ program was created to give us an in-depth & behind the scenes look at Six Flags Over Georgia and share those experiences with you.   Dale Kaetzel, Park President, walked with us the entire day and answered all of our questions, big and small and loves getting park visitor’s feedback.

If I learned one thing that I didn’t already realize about Six Flags Over Georgia during our first ‘Six Flags Super Moms’ meeting, it was that families can have just as much fun as the single 20-something’s that visit the park.

Six Flags Over Georgia has something for everyone to enjoy including a 24 story ride, roller coasters, water rides, a shaded children’s playground, and entertaining shows like Bugs Bunny and Friends and ShenaniGuns! Comedy Wild West Show, both great for all ages.

Here are 6 Things I Didn’t Expect To See At Six Flags Over Georgia, BUT DID!

  • Healthy food choices – Turkey burgers, gluten-free brownies, and more!

  • Sunscreen is available in the on-site gift shops

  • Dramamine – for motion sickness

  • Candy apples – yum!

  • An annual dining pass

  • A remarkably clean park

What about the food, you ask?

I was thrilled to learn about Six Flags Over Georgia’s annual dining pass and food options including a turkey burgers, gluten-free brownies, salad wraps, and fresh fruit.  Park goers can feed their appetite with typical amusement park choices like hotdogs and hamburgers or healthier items like a turkey burger!

Little Kids Love..

Besides running into Loony Tunes characters throughout the park, young kids love the water rides at Skull Island, and the very young ones enjoy playing on the shaded Whistle Stop Park Playground.
