Homeschool Day at Atlanta Botanical Garden – October 18th

No outside food or drink

The Garden hosts an exciting day of tours and activities exclusively for homeschool groups and families. Supplement your life science, botanical and environmental studies curriculum by visiting a tropical rain forest, a desert house and a native pitcher plant bog. Tip-toe through the treetops on the Canopy Walk and observe edible plants in the Edible Garden. The Garden also has a 2-acre Children’s Garden focusing on the interactions between people, animals and plants.

Garden Tours
Tours will take groups through the outdoor gardens and the Fuqua Conservatory to explore how plants can look very different. Meet in the Hardin Visitor Center. Tour times will be listed upon your arrival.

Discovery Stations
Keep an eye out for fun and interactive stations around the Garden where your group can learn more about the garden’s living collections.

Storybook Reading
Come and listen to an assortment of garden stories in the Children’s Garden Amphitheater.
