Thrill seekers can experience some of the tallest, fastest, wildest rides in the country with any of the park’s 14 thrill rides like Georgia Scorcher, Dare Devil Dive and BATMAN. Does Six Flags really offer a good selection of gluten-free items? Two of my kids are strictly gluten-free and I don’t know whether to plan on bringing snacks for them or if we will find options for them at the park. Thanks!
Yes, Six Flags offers gluten free items including brownies and lasagna. You can find more information on their healthy dining options here: https://www.sixflags.com/overgeorgia/food-and-dining/healthy-options. They also have smoothies, salad, and fresh fruit.
My kids want to go to Six Flags so bad over Spring Break. Do you know if the water rides will be open in early April?
We are so excited about going to Six Flags this summer. It will be my son’s (5) first time going. He loves Bugs Bunny and if I remember right there is a Bugs Bunny World at our Six Flags, right? My older son who is 15 can’t wait to jump on some roller coasters!
Yes, there is a Bugs Bunny World at Six Flags Over Georgia! It is home to Bugs Bunny World Theatre, Carrot Patch, and Wile E. Coyote Canyon Blaster to name a few. Have fun and let us know how your kids enjoyed your visit! Here is a link to a list of all of Six Flags Over Georgia’s rides: https://www.sixflags.com/overgeorgia/attractions/ride-list.
My husband and I are the one’s who can’t wait to get to Six Flags! We want to go on the roller coasters but our two young kids (3 and 5) can’t. It would be awesome if there was a child care area so kids can play while parents go on rides!
That’s a good idea!
We went to Six Flags opening weekend and the kids loved it. My wife and I were a little surprised at all of the teenagers that were there seemingly alone. My kids are 8 and 6 though so maybe by the time they are older I’d be ok with them visiting Six Flags by themselves. I’m actually commenting to ask a question. My wife wanted to get the dining pass but I didn’t think it was worth the $69 per person. We plan on going to Six Flags 3-4 times this year. What do you think about the value?
Great question gregorysch!
The Six Flags Season Dining Pass is recommended for those who plan on visiting Six Flags Over Georgia at least four times during the season. You get lunch and dinner each time you visit which I believe is VERY important during a visit to a theme or amusement park like Six Flags Over Georgia.

Hi, I am a mom of two in Alabama and have never been to Six Flags. My boys are 13 and 11 and really want to go to Six Flags. I guess several of their friends have been and can’t talk enough about it. They loved Disney World but we can’t go there again this summer. Do you think we should plan on staying overnight at a hotel near Six Flags and spread our visit out over two days or is one day enough? I saw your tips for Universal Studios Florida.. do you have any tips specifically for Six Flags? Thank you!
Hi Lisa, Yes, I recommend that you stay at a hotel near Six Flags Over Georgia so you can spend 2 days at the park. There is a lot of ground to cover and there are a lot of rides to enjoy AND if you come after Hurricane Harbor opens in late May, you’ll definitely want to visit the park for at least two days. My tips for Six Flags Over Georgia are pretty much the same as the tips you saw on my Universal Studios Florida post and I want to emphasize the ‘sit down for a good meal’ tip. Six Flags Over Georgia offers an amazing selection of food including healthy food options.
My 16 year old daughter is planning a visit to Six Flags with a few of her friends and asked me if I would let her walk around the park with her friends…sans her dad and I. Her dad and I will be there but do you know what the security is like at Six Flags? Would you let your teen walk around the park with her friends?
