A family can have a choice of three types of suites when staying at the Lodge: Themed, Premium and Standard. Prices range from $189 for 4 a night for a standard room, which includes a pull out couch and queen bed, up to $389.99 for a suite that sleeps up to 8, with two full bathrooms, two bedrooms, a king size bed and two queens, as well as a pull out couch, with a balcony.

Dining options include the lodge family restaurant, The Loose Moose Cottage, The Pizza Hut Express, Bear Paw Sweets and Eats, Dunkin Donuts, Spirit Island Snack Shop and when you want to dine in, there’s the Hungry as a Wolf take out pizza for that quick hunger fix!

Those staying at the resort can partake in the indoor water park adventures contained in the Wild Water Dome, regardless the weather outside for year round fun. For more excitement, there are two water parks outside, as well as the New Adventure Forest, a family adventure forest highlighting a 3 story ropes course, black light mini-golf, exciting laser tag on multiple levels, a huge arcade, a fitness center, 36 hole golf course, as well as a “Paint your own pottery” store.

Discounts are available including the popular “kids eat free” at the variety of restaurants, bar and grills, saloons, Mountain Marketplace and Deli, snack bars, etc., scattered about the resort, in addition to in-room dining when you are too exhausted to go out.

Fantasy World Resort featuring Fantasy Surf!

Continuing on your southern adventure, traveling south through Georgia, and just outside of Orlando, you arrive at Kissimmee, Florida and the Fantasy World Resort, home of the Fantasy Surf Indoor Wave Park where you can perfect your surfing or wakeboarding techniques and have fun in the surf with the whole family in a controlled environment. Outdoor adventures are also included 3 swimming pools, Lazy River and 5 story water slide, Kid’s splash pad, playground, activity center, tennis court, fitness center and outdoor picnic areas with gas grills available.

Resort accommodations include town home villas for a two night minimum of $114 a night or as high as $190 a night, depending upon the month/season. The town home sleeps up to six, is fully equipped with a kitchen, washer and dryer and has Internet access.
