Angels Among Us Pet Rescue

North Point Mall is hosting a pet adoption event on Monday, March 30. Numerous dogs, puppies, cats and kittens from Angels Among Us Pet Rescue will be available for adoption.

The pet adoptions will take place from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. in the west court on the lower level. As part of the adoption fees, pets will be spayed or neutered, microchipped and up-to-date on vaccines.  Potential adopters will be required to fill out an application and complete a screening process with Angels Among Us Pet Rescue’s adoption counselors to ensure the animal is a good fit for the home. The application can be filled out online at www.angelsrescue.org for pre-approval prior to the event.

North Point MallPotential adopters who currently have pets should bring contact information for their veterinarian.  A home check must be completed before the adoption is final. A representative from Angels Among Us Pet Rescue will conduct the home check either the day of the event or on a future date that is convenient for the potential adopter.

“We are excited to partner with Angels Among Us Pet Rescue again this year,” said Nick Nicolosi, North Point Mall general manager. “Many deserving animals found loving homes at our pet adoption event last year and we hope even more will find homes this year.

In addition to the pet adoption event, the Easter Bunny will take photos with shopper’s pets from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m.

Angels Among Us Pet Rescue

Angels Among Us Pet Rescue is a 501c3 volunteer based rescue that has saved more than 7,000 pets from kill shelters across the southeast in the last five years. We rely heavily on volunteers and supporters to foster, donate and help market and place our pets in safe and loving homes. We do not breed, age, size or color discriminate. We have purebreds, mixed breeds, big, medium, small, seniors, young adults, puppies and kittens. We have more than 800 pets right now in foster homes across the Atlanta area waiting to be chosen by their furever families. We ask that everyone “Adopt, Not Shop”. So many dogs and cats are begging to have a second chance to have a real family.
