As a part of Autism Awareness Month, Georgia Aquarium will host Autism Awareness Day on Sunday, April 19. There will be a special activities area reserved from 10 – 11 a.m., and also quiet zone areas to serve as a space for all families with children with Autism or other sensory sensitivities to enjoy until 4 p.m.

Georgia Aquarium, in conjunction with Autism Speaks and the Association of Zoos and Aquariums, is also proud to participate in Light it Up Blue. Throughout the month of April, the exterior of the Aquarium and special areas inside will be lit up in blue in support of Autism Awareness Month.

Activities will be taking place in the Kids Cove, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
