3rd Annual Concert Benefiting Atlanta’s Largest Regional Park – Saturday October 15th

A stack of Atlanta’s very own seasoned musical talent will perform in Rock Chastain 2016, Saturday October 15th at the Chastain Park Amphitheater. Powered by Momentum Motorcars, the ticket sales for the 3rd annual benefit concert will serve as the primary fundraiser for the Chastain Park Conservancy. This year, the completion of two world-class community projects: a 40,000 sq ft progressive playground and an expansion of The PATH alongside Powers Ferry Road, support the non-profits steadfast commitment to restore, enhance, maintain and preserve Atlanta’s largest regional park.

Chastain Park Conservancy Executive Director, Rosa McHugh says, “Thanks to the generosity of our corporate sponsors, music performers and Live Nation, we are able to keep ticket prices affordable, which has contributed to the success of this event. While we want to ensure the financial strength of the conservancy, this is a night to celebrate the park and the people who use it. Our goal for the 3rd annual Rock Chastain event is to sell out the 6,500-seat amphitheater.”

A resident of the Chastain Park neighborhood, Ed Roland(of Collective Soul) has been an incredible resource in the assembly of this year’s talented musical lineup, including: one of Atlanta’s very own and returning Rock Chastain band, Drivin’ N’ Cryin’; The Whiskey Gentry, a toe-tapping, steamrolling musically seasoned southern band; Brian Collins, a country-music Georgia born artists, who’s had hit singles on the MusicRow Country Breakout Chart; and  then of course Ed’s newest collaborative enterprise, Ed Roland & The Sweet Tea Project. “Living here, recording music here and playing shows in the neighborhood is something we are happy we’re able to do. We as a band love supporting the Chastain Conservancy and playing at this event. Chastain Amphitheater is still one of the greatest venues in Atlanta.” – Ed Roland
