LEGOLAND® Discovery Center Atlanta welcomes families with children on the autism spectrum for a fun-packed Friday during its first-ever Sensory Friendly Night on Friday, September 30 from 7-9 p.m. The event is open to the public and curated to provide families with a subdued environment, allowing access for children to learn and play at their own pace.

Many steps will be taken to reduce sensory triggers throughout each component of the attraction, such as dimmed lighting and lowered sound. The attraction will alternate 2D and 4D showings in the LEGO® 4D Cinema to accommodate the sensory needs of each individual child. A quiet space will also be set up in the LEGO® Birthday Room and equipped with beanbag seating, fuzzy carpets, dimmed lighting, soft LEGO® brick and no music. Admission to the event will be limited to ensure a non-crowded atmosphere.
