I’ve been taking pictures for as long as I can remember. This may sound a bit silly, but photography is a way of life and obviously a passion of mine. Photography allows me to explore two very important motivators of mine; working with people and the exploration of unending creativity. In 1999, I decided to get very serious about photography professionally which has only added to the passion. I consider myself an artist and not so much a photographer. I only use photography as my medium.

The most important thing I do before photographing anyone (babies, children, high school seniors, brides, etc) is to first build a relationship with my subject. I’m convinced in the difference this makes in the final image so much that I always take the necessary time for this step. My photography must be REAL and not over posed.
