School is out.. hooray.. and my kids love to swim. In the lake, at the beach, or in a pool. The problem is.. we don’t have a pool in our ‘neighborhood’ so we have to go to friend’s houses or to a public pool. Public pools are great for kids because there are usually other kids to swim with. Some public pools charge a small fee to enter, offer yearly passes, and some are free.
Did you know that we have a list of public pools and aquatic centers on AtlantaMoms.com? You’ll find the list here.
Here’s a sampling of what you’ll find in the Atlanta Moms Swim Lessons, Public Pools, and Aquatic Centers Guide:

It has been so hot the pool is about the only place to cool off. This list of pools is excellent..
Swimming is a great recreational activity for kids. It’s fun and can be good exercise as well! Thanks for the list- very helpful indeed.
