A friend of AtlantaMoms.com KidVentures plans local field trips each month in the North Fulton area. Please take a moment and add your name to their mailing list so you can see each months new adventures! KidVentures is 2 mom’s who are always looking for ways to engage their own children in fun, often educational and fun experiences!! They would love for you to join them on their adventures!
June 1st – Ice Cream Social (Cumming) – 4:00 pm
Kick off the summer with KidVentures at our first trip to The Ice Cream Social in Cumming! Kids will get a ice cream tour, karaoke fun, a few games and their favorite flavor of ice cream!!! ($10 per child)
June 3rd – Pretty Nails (Johns Creek) – 10:30 am
Calling all girly girls!! This is a sweet morning for your little princess. She will get a mani/pedi just like a princess and we’ll add in a cupcake and juice too! ($10 per child)
June 7th – Chamberlain’s Chocolate Factory (Norcross) – 11:00 am
A KidVenture Favorite!!! If you haven’t been here yet, now is your chance! This fills up fast, so be sure to sign up early! You will make a chocolate pizza, chocolate covered oreo and a chocolate lollipop! ($15 per child)
June 9th – The Pretzel Connection (Milton) – 10:30 am
Come enjoy your morning snack at The Pretzel Connection! Tour the facility, learn what ingredients go into making pretzels, watch the dough being made and pretzels being baked – and the best part – dine on a pretzel of your very own! (drink included). ($10 per child)
June 10th – Briarcliff Stables (Alpharetta) – 11:00 am
Giddy Up Cowgirls & Cowboys!! Come meet us at Miss Linda’s barn where we will get the ponies ready to ride. We will get to help groom the ponies and take a pony ride. See y’all there! ($10 per child)
June 13th – Z’s Pizza (Johns Creek) – 4:30 pm
Kids will be making their very own pizza, including a soft drink and a couple pizzas for the parents too!!! ALL organic ingredients and a whole lot of FUN! Come hungry…leave happy, and get out of making dinner!! ($15 per child)
June 14th – Canine Assistants (Milton) – 10:00 am
Canine Assistants is a non-profit organization, founded in 1991, which trains and provides service dogs for children and adults with physical disabilities or other special needs. Your kiddo(s) will thoroughly enjoy meeting these special animals! ($10 per child)
June 16th – Alpharetta Police Department (Alpharetta) – 10:00 am
Your kiddo(s) will learn the importance of safety, such a stranger danger, fire safety, 911 and other valuable information. They will tour the police facility and get to sit in a police car and a fire truck! This is an excellent way to teach your child the importance of being safe! ($10 per child)

June 17th – The Art Barn (Canton) – 10:00 am to 1:00 pm
This will be a highlight of your child’s summer….Come and spend the morning with Farmer Sue and all of her animal friends for a morning full of fun. You child will pet, brush and feed all of the barnyard friends, a hayride, a special art project in the barn and end with a picnic if you desire. A WHOLE morning of fun that you DO NOT want to miss! ($15 per child)
June 21st – Jilly’s Cupcakery (Milton) – 10:30 am
A new stop for KidVentures!!! Jilly’s is a dream come true for anyone who likes cupcakes! Made fresh daily, Jilly’s has the most delicious cupcakes around town! Come and take a tour of the bakers kitchen and decorate your own Jilly’s creation!! ($10 per child)
June 22nd – Bruster’s Ice Cream (Alpharetta) – 12:00 pm
There’s no better way to spend a summer day than with ice cream!! This is a fabulous tour! Our tour guide will show us how they make the ice cream each day and we will get to taste unlimited flavors in the store!!! Once we pick our fave, we will each get our own scoop to take home! ($10 per child)
June 24th – White Dog Farm (Cumming) – 10:00 am – 12:00 pm
Kids will take a hike through various parts of the 20+ acre property and see lots of horses! They will also get to groom a horse, make a craft, and enjoy an ice cold popsicle as a special treat! ($10 per child)
June 27th – Chick Fil A (Cumming) – 10:00 am
Tour the Chick Fil A (behind the scenes too!) and learn all about how the restaurant is run. Includes a kids meal (nuggets, fries, drink and playtime to wear the kids out, if you wish)!! ($10 per child)
June 29th – Southeastern Railway Museum (Duluth) – 10:30 am
We’re going back to the train museum for a morning of choo-choo fun!! We will have a private tour of the museum, story time and craft time!! Please feel free to bring a lunch with you and picnic once the tour is finished! ($15 per child)
