The Peach State has dozens of state parks, ranging from Cloudland Canyon in the mountains to Crooked River along the coast. They offer more than 2,400 campsites with bathhouses, water and electric hookups, and laundry facilities. Rates average around $25 to $28 per night. Outdoor enthusiasts enjoy camping inside the parks because fishing lakes, hiking trails and beautiful scenery are right outside their door.
“We want to thank RV campers who are supporters of Georgia’s state parks and who make a significant impact on our reservations,” said State Park Director Becky Kelley. “We are offering this new RV Club to recognize them for their loyalty and to let them know how much we value their business.”
Campers can pick up RV Club PassPorts from park offices or by registering online at GeorgiaStateParks.org/RVClub. There’s no time limit to stay nine nights and get the tenth night free. The club is open to those in motorhomes, campers and trailers.
