Aqua Island, a Floating Water Playground

Aqua Island, a floating playground in Robin Lake, is perfect for cooling off on these hot Summer days in Georgia.  Guests have a blast on the island’s trampoline, aqua totters, slides and the giant climbing wall.  Unlimited access is part of the Beach Trip package and for others it’s only $10 per person, per hour, which is plenty of time to play until every heart is content.


There’s a Circus!

For generations, the Florida State University (FSU) Flying High Circus has returned to wow and amazeCallaway’s Summer guests with their feats and antics.    Included with admission to Callaway Gardens (see below), shows are at Robin Lake Beach are Mondays and Thursdays at 3:30 p.m., Fridays at 8 p.m., Saturdays at 3:30 p.m. and 8 p.m., and Sundays at 3:30 p.m., now through August 3.  There are no performances on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

Robin Lake Beach also offers swimming, table tennis, shuffleboard, playground, miniature golf and larger-than-life checks and chess games on the Beach Pavilion floor.

 


 

In addition to the fun at the Beach, admission includes the Gardens and its many attractions such as the free-flight Birds of Prey show; internationally acclaimed Cecil B. Day Butterfly Center; 10-mile Discovery Bicycle Trail; John A. Sibley Horticultural Center; and Mr. Cason’s Vegetable Garden, just to name a few.

Day admission to Callaway Gardens is $18/adult; $15/senior (65+); $9/child (6-12); children 5 and younger are admitted for free.  Special event admission for holiday events is $25/adult; $20/senior (65+); $12.50/child (6-12).  Children 5 and younger are admitted for free. Tax is included. Summer hours for the Gardens, including Robin Lake Beach, is 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily through August 19.
