Wear Shapewear to get back into your Favorite Pre-Pregnancy Clothes – From The Mommy Insider

So you’ve found the perfect dress to wear for date-night Friday night but you’re not thrilled with the way it fits. This is a situation that many many new moms deal with every day. Maybe you’re close to being back at your pre-pregnancy weight but those last 10 pounds that make all the difference in how your favorite pre-pregnancy jeans fit and/or feel.

It’s kind of like a right of passage.. to be a new mom and have a closet full of clothes that you don’t wear without wearing some kind of shapewear underwear underneath. Shapewear is an essential part of many women’s wardrobe, as it should be.

Don’t be scared by the term shapewear underwear. They can be your best friend and probably not ever your worst enemy. And today’s shapewear is not your granny’s girdle!

If you have cute, fun, and date-night worthy pieces in your closet but don’t want to wear them because of that little post-pregnancy ‘spare tire’ around your belly area, then buying shapewear is a great idea for you. I’m sure you’ve seen that even celebrities like the Kardashian sisters wear shapewear underwear.

Why do women wear shapewear?

  • To feel more confident
  • To feel sexy in their favorite little black dress again!
  • To fit into clothes they can’t otherwise fit into
