My 5 year old daughter is so excited about going to see Sesame Street Live: Elmo’s Super Heros this Thursday. She asked me recently if she is a super hero for being so brave when she went through a cancer issue this summer. Of course, I said YES! I am so thankful that she is ok and I am also thankful that she still enjoys Sesame Street and is looking forward to going to the show Thursday. It seems like she’s grown up so fast these last few months especially since she started Kindergarten this year and is a “big girl” now.
I took my daughter, then 3 years old, to Sesame Street Live: Elmo’s Green Thumb in 2009 and she loved it. We sat in the very first row and she stared in amazement as the huge Sesame Street characters danced and sang right in front of us. She even got to shake Abby Cadabby’s hand and Count Dracula came up to say hello too!
