Macy’s Pink Pig – An Atlanta Family Holiday Tradition

Macy's Pink Pig Blogger Event

The Macy’s Pink Pig ride is an Atlanta tradition that goes back several decades.  The pig travels along train tracks, carrying its riders through a storyland of fun.  Just check out the video from the recent trip I took with my husband and youngest child, along with about two dozen friends.

Since 1953, the Pink Pig has been delighting generations of Atlantans. Beginning late October through early January you can also join Priscilla during her normal holiday hours. Tickets are available at the Pink Pig kiosk where you’ll the gang squealing with excitement under the tent atop the Lenox Road parking deck at Macy’s Lenox Square. A portion of the ride’s proceeds will benefit Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. Take a ride on Priscilla the Pink Pig! Travel through the super-sized storybook, starring Priscilla and all of her fabulous friends. Ride is open Saturday, October 29 through Jaunary 1, 2012.

If you live in Atlanta, you should take your family to ride the Pink Pig at least once.  While you’re at Macy’s for your ride on Priscilla the Pink Pig, you and your kids can send a letter to Santa!
