Atlanta’s Favorite Fair Offers Wild Wednesdays and Non-Alcoholic St. Patty’s Day Celebration

The Atlanta Fair 2013This March, the Atlanta Fair is thrilled to announce two inaugural programs to its diverse lineup of activities. Wild Wednesdays and The Fish 104.7 Family-Friendly St. Patty’s Day Party are exciting additions to the classic fair programming that Atlanta-area families have come to know and love through the years!

Wild Wednesdays are jam-packed evenings of food truck competitions, giveaways, live entertainment and rides. Wednesday, March 13, 2013 will kick off the month-long competition between some of Atlanta’s most coveted food truck vendors. Fair patrons sampling bites from participating vendors will be asked to vote on their favorite fair fare on Facebook; the vendor with the most votes will win a cash prize. Additionally, on Wednesday, March 27, 2013, two lucky fair attendees will win tickets and immediate transportation to the Maroon 5 concert at Philips Arena!

On Sunday, March 17th 2013 families seeking wholesome fun are encouraged to join the Atlanta Fair for The Fish 104.7 Family-Friendly St. Patty’s Day Party. The family-focused day will include free photos with Lucky the Leprechaun, complimentary gate access for children under 11 from 1 – 5 p.m. and live music.

ABOUT ATLANTA FAIR

For over 30 years, the Atlanta Fair at Turner Field has been bringing the thrills, excitement and sounds of the Midway to Georgia residents. What was once only a dream of three carnival-loving brothers from Southeastern Kentucky has blossomed into one of the largest inner city fairs that the Southeastern United States offers. The fair operates Monday- Thursday from 5-10 p.m., Friday 5-11 p.m., Saturday noon to 11 p.m. and Sunday, 1-11 p.m. Admission for children between the ages of 2-11 is $1 and ages 12 and up are $3 Monday-Thursday, $5 Friday-Sunday and $8 after 6 p.m. on Saturday.
