The Atlanta Auto Show, A Great Way To Shop For Your Next Car | @Toyota @ATLAutoShow

2013 Atlanta Auto ShowI love cars and technology.  Put the two together and I’m in my ‘happy place’.

Last week I attended Toyota’s Press Conference at the Atlanta Auto Show.  Toyota had an impressive display of vehicles including their popular minivan, the Sienna, and their new Hybrid Avalon, and they unveiled the 2014 Tundra at the Atlanta Auto Show.   What a luxury truck!   After learning about the Tundra, I explored Toyota’s minivan, the Sierra, as well as the new Hybrid Avalon.

The Atlanta Auto Show makes it easy for potential buyers to see and learn about the newest cars, features, and actually get inside them and experience most of them first hand.

2013 Toyota Sienna Highlights

Based on the short period of time I spent exploring the 2013 Toyota Sienna, here are a few of my favorite features of the popular minivan:

  • Upper glove compartment and lockable lower glove compartment – Standard on all trim levels
  • Three 12V auxiliary power outlets – Standard on all trim levels
  • 6 cup holders in 7-seat models and 8 cup holders in 8-seat models
  • Display Navigation withEntune® – Optional on select models
  • Smart Key System on all doors with Push Button Start and remote illuminated entry – Available with 2013 Limited trim
  • Blind Spot Monitor – Optional on SE model
Here is a brief video on how easily the 3rd row can be arranged to allow for more cargo room in the back.

Watch this brief demonstration of how the 8th (in select models) seat can be easily removed from the 2nd row.

It’s at the Auto Show that buyers are able to get a good look at and experience everything about a vehicle from comfort to storage and technology features to safety features.  The Atlanta Auto Show showcased over 20 lines of cars and trucks with more than 400 new 2013 import and domestic cars, light trucks, and SUVs.

Another one of my favorite areas at the Atlanta Auto Show was the ‘Then and Now’ section where two cars were displayed side-by-side.  One vehicle was an older classic vehicle and the other being a recent model of the same vehicle.  That was fun to see!

If you or your friends or family live in or near New York, you can check out the latest from Toyota and other car manufacturers at the New York International Auto Show in New York March 29th – April 7th.

Auto Shows are a ton of fun not only for parents but for kids too!  Kids can test out the cars just like parents.. except maybe they can’t drive them.
