I love doing fun garden projects around the house.  It just makes me feel good to see plants and flowers growing inside and outdoors.  Sometimes I run out of ideas on something that would be fun to make.  Miracle-Gro helps me with that with The Gro Project!

Origami Garden

The Gro Project is easy and fun to do gardening projects that will help get your creative mojo running again! Don’t have a green thumb?  No problem!  These fun garden projects are easy for everyone at any gardening level.

Here’s one to get you started: The Origami Garden

What you need:

• Scissors
• Cardboard
• Yarn or string
• Metal ring for hanging
• A small plant
• Miracle-Gro® Moisture Control® Potting Mix
• Origami Instructions (page 2)
• Macramé Instructions (page 3)
• Glue
• Miracle-Gro® Shake ‘n Feed® Plant Food
Directions:
Cut it!

Use the origami template to draw a polygon on a piece of cardboard,
then cut it out.
Fold it!
Fold your cardboard according to instructions. Glue the overlapping pieces together.
Tie it!
While the glue is drying, use the macramé instructions to knot your hanger.
Plant it!

Fill a lightweight pot with potting mix, then transfer your plant to it. When your origami
planter is completely dry, nestle the potted plant in it.
Green Thumbs Up!

Sit back and enjoy your masterpiece. To keep it looking lovely, you need to feed it.
