College football comes home to Atlanta on August 23. Celebrate the pageantry and traditions of college football in this 94,000-square-foot centerpiece for the game, featuring historic and contemporary artifacts, interactive multimedia displays, children’s activities, theater, meeting facilities and special event spaces.
We’re kicking off with a Grand Opening and Tailgating Party featuring a full slate of FREE activities beginning at 9 a.m. that will appeal to fans of all ages:
- Children’s games and activities
- Live music
- Interactive games
- A visit from the ESPN College GameDay Bus
- Live broadcast from 680-AM “The Fan”
- Kids’ football clinic hosted by Kids and Pros
- PLUS the first 1,000 people through the Hall’s doors will receive a College Football Hall of Fame T-shirt
Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed and various members of the College Football Hall of Fame will be on hand for the final countdown as the Hall officially opens its doors to the public at 10 a.m. Join us and celebrate the storied history of college football and be a part of the city’s biggest tailgate at the Hall’s Grand Opening.
