The Voice Studio Atlanta, opened in 2017 by acclaimed Metropolitan Opera Soprano Leah Partridge, is accepting new students ages 14 and up for spring and summer sessions. The Voice Studio Atlanta is the premiere studio for modern training of the classical voice in the Southeast and the only voice studio operated in Atlanta by an active international opera singer. Founder, Leah Partridge www.leahpartridge.com is a versatile singing actor specializing in opera and musical theater. She has performed in over 50 productions worldwide and will be performing with the Atlanta Opera in June as the Beggar Woman in Sondheim’s Sweeney Todd. Because classical training of the voice gives an individual the capacity to sing any genre with a healthy approach, Ms. Partridge is sought after by local actors, country, and R&B artists. She is a member of the National Association of Teachers of Singing and is invited to colleges across the nation for Masterclasses.
This summer is the perfect time to get your music loving teen started discovering their voice or building vocal technique. It is also a superb time to polish audition pieces for the fall audition season and to refine acting skills. The Voice Studio Atlanta assists students at any level and o ers sessions tailored to the needs of each student. Lessons are taught on an individual basis for one hour sessions and can include lessons in foreign language diction, musicianship, aural skills, sight singing, and yoga for singers. Masterclasses in stage deportment, yoga for singers, audition techniques, role preparation, and music business etiquette are o ered to enrolled students.
