Callaway Gardens Mountain Creek Inn – A Great Fall Family Travel Destination

We visited Callaway Gardens for their recent Sky High Hot Air Balloon Festival and what I thought would be a great day turned out to be better than I imagined it could be.  The hot air balloon glow was absolutely stunning (photo below) as was our room.

When we arrived at Callaway Gardens Sunday,  we checked in to our room at Callaway Gardens Mountain Creek Inn.  Despite vacationing at Callaway Gardens many times in the past few years, we had not stayed at Mountain Creek Inn. We have always stayed in a cottage at the Southern Pine Cottages as we like having a full kitchen and 2 bedrooms.   I recently learned that many of the Mountain Creek Inn rooms had been newly renovated and thought that going to the Sky High Hot Air Balloon Festival and staying at the Inn would make for a fun weekend.. and it did!

The Mountain Creek Inn, located at Callaway Gardens in Pine Mountain Georgia, features renovated rooms with repurposed furniture. In addition to utilizing repurposed furniture during the recent renovations at the Mountain Creek Inn, new carpeting and unique décor top off the latest changes.
