June 18th – Summer Solstice Celebration at Chattahoochee Nature Center

When: 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM

The Summer Solstice is a major celestial event that marks the longest day, and shortest night, of the year. Cultures throughout the world celebrate this day with festivals and rituals which incorporate blooming plants to ward off evil and promote prosperity.  Join Horticulturalist Lisa Cole for a Summer Solstice Celebration tour designed to interweave stories of nature with tales of ancient civilizations.

All Ages.
