Celebrate National Day of Puppetry* at the Center for Puppetry Arts with a smorgasbord of activities for families and adults!

Meet the Center’s new larger-than life mascot, SOCKLY! Make a sock puppet and be a part of a record-setting photo! Catch a show! Take a tour! Explore the museum! See a film! Learn some tricks from the Atlanta Puppetry Guild! Grab a bite from the Good Food Truck, and celebrate puppetry all day long!

11:00am “Behind-the-Scenes Tour” Guided Tour
12:00pm See Brer Rabbit and Friends. (Ages 4+)  12 – 1pm
1:00pm Create-A-Puppet Workshops open!  Build, decorate, and perform

with your own Brer Bear Hand Puppet. 1 – 4pm

2:00pm See Brer Rabbit and Friends.(Ages 4+)  2 – 3pm
2:00pm “Life and Legacy of Jim Henson” Guided Tour
